Category A

12min

3 pieces, must include a Bach Two-Part Invention.

Category B

15min

3 pieces, must include a Classical fast first-movement sonata.

Age 15 and under 

​1st prize: $700

2nd prize: $400

Category C

20min

3 pieces, must include a Chopin Étude from op.10 or op.25.

Age 21 and under 

​​1st prize: $1,000

2nd prize: $500

1. Final round: live performance on 13th September 2025 2pm to 5pm. Each contestant to bring five copies of scores for the jury and submit to a working staff. 2. Participants should report to the venue 45min before playing time. 3. Masterclass Prizes: 14th September 2025 10am-1pm. 4. Award ceremony & Gala Concert: 14 September 2025 2-5 pm 5. Contestant to submit video to mwsom100@gmail.com for audition by 30 June 2025. Please pay $40 for video submission.

Solo category with own choice piece

1. All contestants will bring three copies of the scores they are performing and hand to a working staff on the day 12th September 2025 10 am – 1 pm. 2. Participants should report to the venue 45min before playing time. 3. All winners will receive trophies and certificates of attendance. 4. Selected contestant will perform in Gala concert. 5. Selected contestants will receive Masterclass from members of the jury (20 minutes each valued at $100 each pax). 6. Selected contestants will each receive $300 Euro to Piano Concerto Festival 2026 in France. (June 22 Monday - 26 Friday 2026) 7. Selected contestants will each receive $200 Euro to Piano Concerto Festival 2026 in Chopin Homeland, Poland. (Mid July 1 week, 2026). 8. Developing Artist Scholarship Recipient Award will be given to selected contestants with promising talent.

Please start performing from after the orchestral introduction and provide your own accompanist for the second piano. Concerto scholarship prize will be awarded to selected contestants.

By Teachers and Pupils

A duet performance to be performed by teacher and pupil. 

Time limit: 4 minutes.

Each teacher can participate in 3 duet groups maximum.

Registration fee is S$180.

All participants must follow the competition requirements for the chosen category, repertoire level and time limit. Those who do not meet the requirements might be disqualified and payment will not be refunded.
